Although I have a sneaky feeling that some of my students are doing backdated photojournals but they are posting things that are less mundane and looking beyond themselves. The first one started with a post about how the African don't have water readily available and a second followed about the shortage of rice. I wondered if I have been really effective in getting the message across. But at least they are thinking about it. Hopefully. Another pit drop in my job. Was supposed to have my lesson ob today. The second one. Prepared for this one, and really nothing can't really go wrong. But I have to come down with fever and I ended up delaying my phone call to school telling them that I'm not coming in, hoping that the fever would go down. Didn't want to get my students sick which is true since some of them already down with fever and some showing signs of it.
Sucky feeling but well.. there will be a way out of all this. Reminded me of my practicum last year. My second supervisor observation was fraught with so many disasters not of my doing that it's like "wah lau eh" is the only 3 words that can fully describe my situation. This one is more of like "sigh. gee. what can I do?"
Argh. Don't think already la. Gradually, I will probably just need validation from my students through their work and behaviour. Or more specifically, just my form class. Life, indeed, does go on.
